As we recognize Holocaust Remembrance Day, it is our duty to educate, empower, and act to confront rising rates of antisemitism in our communities. In honor of those who lost their lives, as well as those who continue to live with the lasting impacts of this tragedy, I encourage you to learn more about the history of the Holocaust and educate yourself about how antisemitism presents itself today. The Zekelman Holocaust Center in Farmington Hills proffers the opportunity for visitors to take the lessons learned from the Holocaust and venerate the lives of those lost to antisemitism.Today is Holocaust Day of Remembrance and we remember the 6 million Jewish people who were murdered during the Holocaust and the other victims of Nazi persecution.
